Guests can, of course, leave when they wish but retirement villages are safe places where residents feel secure and looked after. Some communities include gates, whilst others have CCTV to ensure guests feel secure.

Pets Welcome

Many people are unsure about whether they can take their pet when they move into retirement villages and aged care facilities – which can sometimes mean having to surrender a beloved animal or hand them over to family.
